In the early morning hours of July 10, 2014, the life of 22-year-old Dominic Wright was cut short in a violent encounter in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Police discovered the young man's body on a front porch at 2108 Foust Street around 3:45 a.m., marking the city's 19th homicide of the year. Wright had been fatally shot in what authorities suspected was a gang-related incident.
