In the spring of 2024, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 21-year-old Michael-Kane Gionny Buttram, a Black/African American male from Chattanooga, Tennessee. On the evening of April 12th, what began as an argument between two other individuals near a local skate park tragically ended with Buttram being fatally shot.
