A man is shot and killed by 2 assailants in the front yard of his mother's home Michael Hines, a 41-year-old African-American man, was at his mother's residence in the Brainerd area of Chattanooga, Tennessee, on the afternoon of March 9, 2016, when his life was abruptly and violently cut short. Two unidentified men arrived at the home and specifically asked his mother for him. One of the individuals then entered the house and, following a confrontation, demanded money from Hines before shooting him multiple times.
