Melvin Orlando Crayton Jr., an 18-year-old African American male from Chattanooga, TN, tragically died on July 6, 2014, from a gunshot wound to his leg. The incident occurred on East 25th Street in Chattanooga, where Melvin was shot on the evening of July 6, 2014. He was transported to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
