Danny Ray Goins, a 59-year-old white male, was found dead on November 14, 2016, in his mobile home located at 410-4 Christopher Road, Shelby, NC. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office reported that Goins had been shot at least once before his mobile home was set on fire. Firefighters discovered his body while extinguishing the blaze. The investigation revealed that the fire was likely set to cover up the shooting.
