On October 27, 2016, a tragic incident occurred in Shelby, North Carolina, resulting in the death of 3-year-old Liam Beason. Liam, a young boy, was shot and killed inside a home on Whisnant Street. The shooting also claimed the life of Miranda Woods, a woman whose age was not disclosed. The incident took place early in the morning, around 7:45 a.m., and was not believed to be a random act.
