Tyrand Santrell Hopper, a 35-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 30, 2019, in Shelby, North Carolina. The incident occurred at a residence on West Circle Drive, where police responded to a 911 call just after 9 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Hopper suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
