Delavin Monroe Card, a 17-year-old African American male, was found dead from gunshot wounds in Shelby, North Carolina, on June 21, 2018. The tragic incident occurred behind an apartment complex on West Warren Street. Delavin was discovered lying in the grass with multiple gunshot wounds, including one in his right arm and another in his back. The Shelby Police Department and Cleveland County EMS responded to the scene, but unfortunately, Delavin was pronounced dead upon their arrival.
