Daquarrius Raquan Sanders, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2021, in Shelby, North Carolina. Born on June 8, 2002, in Cleveland County, NC, Daquarrius was the son of Shawana Reena Surratt and Derrick Eugene Sanders. He was a resident of Shelby and attended Ellis Chapel Baptist Church.
