Travis Wallace, a 35-year-old male, was found dead on October 12, 2015, at the Super 8 Motel in Shelby, North Carolina. Wallace, who was from Gaffney, South Carolina, was discovered in room 218 with a single gunshot wound to the chest. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m., and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
