Death by Force

Keith Odom, a 49-year-old truck driver from Jonesborough, Tennessee, was tragically shot to death on August 8, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Odom was repairing a tire on his tractor-trailer in the parking lot of a shopping center when he was approached by an 18-year-old suspect, Landry Carter. Carter, who is Black, robbed Odom of his personal belongings before shooting him. Odom was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
