On an unfortunate spring evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Rayfel Matta Jr., a 34-year-old male, was abruptly cut short. On Saturday, April 3, 2021, at approximately 6:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the Hollywood Food Mart located at the corner of McClelland Drive and Hollywood Street following reports of a shooting.
