Fredrick Harris, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on March 28, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Birch Street, where Harris was pronounced dead at the scene. The Baton Rouge Police Department launched an investigation into the shooting, which led to the identification of Joseph Jacobs, a 31-year-old male, as a suspect.
