On a Tuesday just before noon, authorities in Baton Rouge were called to a grim scene on Scenic Highway, nestled between Airline Highway and Mengel Road. There, they discovered the body of Stafford Williams, a 48-year-old man from the local community. Williams had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene on June 30, 2020.
