On June 13, 2024, Leslie Bourgeois, a 58-year-old resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. when police responded to reports of a shooting at a home on Pocahontas Street, near the intersection with Madison Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Leslie suffering from gunshot wounds.
