On New Year's Day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a tragic story began to unfold with the death of 15-year-old Ramide Cosey. The male teen, a freshman and football player at Istrouma High School, was walking with three other juveniles in the 4600 block of West Brookstown Drive on January 1, 2024, when a vehicle passed by and unleashed a spray of gunfire.
