Willie Francisco, 38, a Black/African American male, died on August 2, 2025, in New Iberia, Louisiana, after being shot on Ann Street in an incident police quickly characterized as accidental. Officers were called to the 900 block just before 8 p.m., found him gravely wounded, and he later died at a local hospital.
