In the late afternoon of a Saturday in November 2024, the life of 31-year-old Taquam Worsley of Chesapeake, Virginia, was tragically cut short. First responders were dispatched to the 3100 block of Border Road at approximately 4:50 p.m. following initial reports of gunshots in the area. While en route, officers received an update that a person had been shot.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Worsley suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was quickly transported to a local hospital with injuries that were described as potentially life-threatening. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Taquam Worsley succumbed to his injuries. The Chesapeake Police Department confirmed his death on the following Monday.
