On February 12, 2024, at approximately 11:58 p.m., Chesapeake Police responded to a report of an armed individual in the Grady Crescent area. Upon arrival, officers discovered 40-year-old Martario Donta Gee of Portsmouth suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
