On April 15, 2009, 16-year-old Mason Jones and his 17-year-old friend Joshua Compton were tragically shot and killed in Chesapeake, Virginia. The incident occurred at Compton’s home on Rowland Avenue in the South Norfolk section of the city. Just after midnight, two men approached the home, asking to speak with Joshua.
