On the evening of April 8, 2025, a burst of violence cut short the life of 32-year-old Devante L. Wilson in Norfolk, Virginia. Around 7:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 1800 block of Berkley Avenue Extension. Upon arrival, officers found Wilson suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his wounds.
