In the early morning hours of September 16, 2018, the life of 53-year-old Earl Thornton Lassiter, Jr. was tragically cut short in Chesapeake, Virginia. Residents in the 2000 block of Timber Lane recalled hearing gunshots at approximately 2:30 a.m., though these sounds went unreported to the authorities at the time.
