On September 16, 2018, 53-year-old Earl Lassiter was found deceased from gunshot wounds in Chesapeake, Virginia. Police responded to the 2000 block of Timber Lane around 7:11 a.m. after residents reported a man lying on the ground. Upon arrival, officers discovered Lassiter, who resided nearby on Flower Lane, dead at the scene.
