In the fading hours of a Tuesday night in Baton Rouge, tragedy struck, forever altering the lives of a local family. On November 23, 2021, Kendrick Demond Gibson, a 29-year-old male resident of the city, was shot and killed. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at a residence on Linwood Street, where an argument escalated into deadly violence. Gibson was found on a porch, having succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
