In the morning hours of December 16, 2021, a verbal dispute on Evangeline Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically escalated, leading to the death of 51-year-old OW Turner. The incident occurred around 10:06 a.m. when an argument between Turner and another man turned violent. Turner was shot during the altercation and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The male suspect fled before law enforcement arrived.
