In the early hours of a Wednesday in Providence, Rhode Island, the life of a Hispanic man, 33-year-old Jamie Ramos of Pawtucket, was brought to a violent and abrupt end. On August 19, 2020, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Ramos was inside a smoke shop located at 884 Branch Avenue.
