Lamondo C. Brown, a 24-year-old African American male from Cahokia, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 28, 2016. On that fateful night, at approximately 10:19 PM, police officers responded to a call about a man down at the intersection of Williams and Ellen streets in Cahokia. Upon arrival, they found Lamondo C. Brown suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite being transported to the hospital, Lamondo succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation into Lamondo's death was promptly taken up by the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis. Their efforts led to the arrest of Ramone Parker, a 23-year-old male, who was subsequently charged with first-degree murder. Parker's bond was set at $750,000.
