On March 27, 2024, a homicide investigation was initiated by the Baton Rouge Police Department following an incident at the Colonial Terrace Apartments located at 675 Wooddale Blvd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Jashawn Neal, a 23-year-old man, was found deceased due to gunshot wounds at the scene.
