On an autumn afternoon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 18-year-old Jarico Selmon was tragically cut short. On October 2, 2019, Selmon was shot in the 4100 block of West Brookstown Drive. After being struck by gunfire, he ran until he collapsed in front of a convenience store on Prescott Road, where he succumbed to his injuries.
