In the summer of 2020, on the evening of July 22nd, tragedy struck in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, forever altering the lives of two families. D'Andre Mills, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot in a brazen act of violence that also claimed the life of 31-year-old Landon Johnson. The double homicide unfolded on Dalton Street, where a crowd had gathered for the filming of a music video. The atmosphere, likely once filled with creative energy, was shattered by the sound of gunfire around 7:33 p.m.
