In the spring of 2021, a violent altercation in Baton Rouge claimed the life of 16-year-old Joseph Antoine III. On the evening of May 23rd, Antoine was inside a black Honda Accord on Sharp Lane when a gun battle erupted. He was gravely wounded during the exchange of fire. Emergency services transported the teenager to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
