In the quiet neighborhoods of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Tivon Brandon Tarvin, a 34-year-old man, was abruptly ended by an act of violence on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. That evening, at approximately 7:40 p.m., police were called to the scene of a shooting in the 3500 block of Cain Street. There, they discovered Tarvin inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
