In the evening hours of May 13, 2020, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a young Black man named Trent Jones, who was 18 years old, was shot and killed. The incident unfolded on San Juan Drive, where Jones had arranged to meet with another individual to conduct a firearm transaction.
