A quiet street in Baker, a city within East Baton Rouge Parish, became the scene of a grim discovery on a May afternoon in 2021. Inside a home on Richmond Street, sheriff's deputies found the bodies of 26-year-old Brandon Parker and 32-year-old Christin Parker, both of whom had been fatally shot. The initial 911 call that alerted authorities had disconnected, adding a layer of mystery to the unfolding tragedy.
