In the early hours of a Monday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of a 25-year-old man, Ashton Wells, was cut tragically short. On November 26, 2018, just after midnight, police responded to reports of gunfire at the Lakeside Villa Apartments on Weldwood Drive. There, near his own home, they discovered Wells' body. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
