On November 13, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Eric Taylor. The incident took place on Plank Road, where Taylor was walking when a vehicle pulled up and opened fire on him. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD), officers responded to a shooting call around 7:49 p.m. and found Taylor suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment.
