On the evening of March 12, 2020, 51-year-old John Armstrong was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of North 44th Street. Despite the efforts of those who arrived on the scene, Armstrong succumbed to his injuries, his life cut short in a brutal act that left the community seeking answers.
