In the late summer evening of August 16, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 26-year-old Jordan Jenkins was tragically cut short. The shooting incident unfolded at approximately 8:55 p.m. in the 7400 block of Simplex Street. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered Jenkins, a resident of Cadillac Street, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
