Fredrick James Workman, 15, disappeared on August 2, 2013, from a juvenile facility in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was staying at the time. Fredrick, who was originally from Fairfield, Iowa, had been told by his probation officer that he would not be allowed to return home until he completed the program at the facility. It is believed that Fredrick left voluntarily, possibly heading to Newton, Iowa.
Despite this, his family has not heard from him since, and authorities have classified his disappearance as an endangered runaway.
Fredrick has blond hair, blue eyes, and a small scar under his chin. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing an orange t-shirt with gold writing, skinny jeans, and blue and black high-top Nike sneakers. He also suffers from ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), requiring medication that he did not have with him when he disappeared. Over the years, there have been few leads, but his family continues to search for answers.
Law enforcement and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) remain involved in the search for Fredrick, but his whereabouts remain unknown.Last Seen: Aug 2, 2013
