Kenzell Herbert, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 7, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 6:36 PM in the 3100 block of Elm Drive. Kenzell Herbert was inside a vehicle with a friend when an unknown suspect, riding a four-wheeler, opened fire on them. Both Herbert and his friend were transported to a local hospital for their gunshot injuries, but unfortunately, Herbert succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.
