On November 10, 2023, at approximately 1:56 a.m., Baton Rouge Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 4200 block of Washington Avenue. Upon arrival, they found 52-year-old Wesley McGee suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
