In the quiet hours of a late July night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Travis Polk, a 21-year-old male, was found shot in the early morning hours of Friday, July 25, 2014. The discovery was made in the front yard of a residence on Mission Drive, where Polk was found sitting in a lawn chair, having sustained a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
