In the early morning hours of January 30, 2023, the parking lot of a Waffle House on Rieger Road in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, became the scene of a sudden and fatal act of violence. Horace Watson, a 37-year-old male, was inside a vehicle when he and another man, 33-year-old Leonard Leslie, were ambushed by a shooter. The attack was swift and brutal, leaving the car riddled with numerous bullet holes.
