On a Friday afternoon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 18-year-old Idrissa Ndongo was tragically cut short. On January 26, 2024, at approximately 1:13 p.m., gunfire erupted in front of an apartment complex located at 11631 Sherwood Hollow Court. Idrissa Ndongo, a male, sustained fatal gunshot injuries and died at the scene. Another young man, 19-year-old Trevor Courtney, was also killed in the shooting.
