On May 22, 2023, Courtney Brown Jr., a 25-year-old man, was fatally shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 11:46 AM in the 3300 block of Gus Young Avenue near North Acadian Thruway. Brown was shot multiple times while sitting in his vehicle at a traffic light. Following the shooting, his car crashed into a utility pole, with several bullet holes observed in the passenger door.
