In the spring of 2023, the life of 25-year-old Courtney Brown Jr. was tragically cut short in a brazen daylight shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On Monday, May 22nd, Brown was sitting in his vehicle at a traffic light near the intersection of Gus Young Avenue and North Acadian Thruway. It was around noon when the sound of gunfire shattered the midday calm. Multiple shots were fired into his car, striking him several times.
