In the early morning hours of a Friday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the quiet of the Vel Rose Motel on Airline Highway was shattered by violence. Inside one of the rooms, 29-year-old Joshua Turner, a male resident of the city, was found deceased on November 20, 2020. The cause of his untimely death was determined to be a gunshot wound.
