In a selfless act that ultimately cost him his life, 64-year-old Randall Cedric Parker was fatally wounded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred on October 29, 2022, on North 31st Street near Choctaw Drive. Parker reportedly witnessed a man attacking a woman and intervened to help her. During his attempt to fend off the assailant, he was shot.
