Eishmel Spears Jr., a 69-year-old male, was shot and killed in his vehicle in the early morning hours of June 7, 2023, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Merganzer Avenue, near Scenic Highway. Spears had just dropped off a friend and was sitting in his Chevrolet Silverado parked on the shoulder of the road when he was fatally wounded by multiple gunshots. Baton Rouge Police found him deceased in the driver's seat of his truck.
