Eishmel Spears Jr., a 69-year-old resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was fatally shot on June 7, 2023. The incident occurred on the 9900 block of Merganzer Avenue in Baton Rouge.

Tony Lanus, a 22-year-old man, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with Spears' death.
