On a Sunday evening in May of 2014, the life of 32-year-old Black / African American male, Orok Ironbar, was tragically cut short in a wave of violence that swept through Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The day, May 18th, was marked by a series of three separate shootings that left two men dead and two others wounded, shattering the peace of the city.
