On a late summer evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 21-year-old Jamison Murray Tate, an African American male, was tragically cut short. The date was August 23, 2018, and the setting was the Port Royal Apartments on Airline Highway, where Tate was helping a friend move.
