In the winter of 2019, a series of tragic events struck the homeless community of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, leaving a palpable sense of fear and vulnerability. Among the victims was Tony Williams, a 50-year-old man who had been living on the streets. On the morning of December 27th, his body was discovered on the front porch of a vacant house near the corner of North 18th and Convention Streets. He had been fatally shot.
